                        Olive Oil Hair Treatment.

To make your own essential oil hair treatment blend, take 50ml of olive oil and to it, add one of the following blends -

For normal hair -

• 20 drops of cedarwood essential oil
• 20 drops lemon essential oil
• 20 drops lavender essential oil
• 20 drops rosemary essential oil
• 20 drops rose essential oil
• 20 drops geranium essential oil
• 20 drops chamomile essential oil
• 20 drops ylang-ylang essential oil
• 20 drops neroli essential oil
• 10 drops lavender and 10 drops rosemary essential oil
• 10 drops lavender and 10 drops chamomile essential oil
• 10 drops lemon and 10 drops cedarwood essential oil
• 10 drops geranium and 10 drops lemon essential oil
• 10 drops neroli and 10 drops ylang-ylang essential oil
• 10 drops neroli and 10 drops rose essential oil

For oily hair -

• 20 drops bergamot essential oil
• 20 drops tea-tree essential oil
• 20 drops thyme essential oil
• 20 drops grapefruit essential oil
• 20 drops geranium essential oil
• 20 drops lime essential oil
• 20 drops frankincense essential oil
• 20 drops peppermint essential oil

• 20 drops calendula essential oil

• 20 drops rosemary essential oil

• 10 drops lavender and 10 drops thyme essential oil
• 10 drops lavender and 10 drops rosemary essential oil

Method of use for the Olive Oil hair treatment with the essential oils for hair.

Take your oil blend and massage well into dry hair. Massage the scalp in small circular movements, with your finger tips to encourage the blood flow and relaxation. Massage your scalp for at least 5 minutes. Work the oil through the hair right to the ends. Wrap your hair in a plastic shower cap and place a warmed towel around your head - stay wrapped up in the towel for an hour !

Wash off the oil blend by applying a mild shampoo to the hair before you add the water to rinse, on the second rinse add 50ml of fresh lemon juice to the rinse water, to condition and cleanse the hair, on the final rinse use only clear water.

Your locks should be soft,smooth and glistening !
