Anayennisi Aromatics Aromatherapy Essential Oils Use Chart - Cautions for Use.

Please note this is by no means an exhaustive list of essential oils - this Essential oils use chart covers the oils that are discussed in this website.

Please also read the disclaimer section before using essential oils and the Uses for Essential Oils - Aromatherapy Safety page.

Please read the Toxic....DO NOT USE page, which has an essential oils chart of essential oils that are NOT to be used.

Please follow the cautions and safety data which are issued on the essential oil container, set out by the retailer of the essential oil.

Special note - As a complementary therapist, in my personal practice, I would not EVER advocate ingestion of essential oils, although I am aware others do, also I would never use essential oils if the recipient was in the first trimester of pregnancy, after the first trimester I would use very gentle and reduced amounts of essential oils in my practice, AFTER the recipient had consulted their physician and their physician was in agreement, that it was appropriate for the recipient to have aromatherapy......Please read the Essential oils and Pregnancy page if you are pregnant.

Please always consult your physician if you feel it is required to do so before using essential oils.

If no contra-indications are given for a specific essential oil it is regarded as safe to use as long as the guidelines for using essential oils in general are adhered to.
