Homemade liquid olive oil soap is ideal for any sensitive skin, for babies, teenage faces and dry mature skin, hard working hands, gardening hands - olive oil contains naturally occurring Vitamin E - which soothes and moisturizes skin, also great anti-oxidants - which reduce inflammation - due to the fact that the glycerin is not removed in the soapmaking process - as it is in many commercial soaps - heightening the moisturizing effect. Although for an even richer, luxurious soap extra glycerin ( available, at little cost, from any pharmacy - glycerin is  used extensively in the food and medical industry, for such preparations as cough linctus, toothpastes, low-fat foods and sweeteners), can be added.

Anayennisi Aromatics liquid soap recipes are ideal for sensitive skins,not only skin but delicate fabrics too, baby clothes, linens and woollens, because these soaps are made from completely natural products, olive oil and essential oils, no nasty chemicals or irritants. The ingredients do the job of cleaning your laundry as well as any commercial brand ! So tough on grime but soft on the skin !

The amounts given are small, as not everyone has room to store great tubs of handmade liquid soap and it is so simple and quick to make there is no need, unless of course you do a lot of bathing !!

This basic recipe makes 1 litre . 

Natural Cleaning Recipes.

All of these liquid soap recipes for hands and baths or delicate fabrics can be made by using any of the simple handmade soap recipes below.

All of them have a natural soap base, using only Anayennisi Aromatics basic olive oil soap recipe - from these olive oil soap bars, all of the homemade liquid soaps can be made, alternatively use the basic olive oil soap recipe and add a suggested essential oil blend. 

Soapmaking Instructions for Homemade liquid soap using essential oils and a natural olive oil soap recipe base.

Ingredients needed are :-

1 olive oil soap bar - See the links for details below or go to the Make soap page.

Essential oils - See below.

1 litre water - boiling...or at least very hot !!

20ml Glycerin, this is optional but adding it makes a lovely smooth homemade liquid soap !

A plastic container for storage or your soap dispensers ! 

Natural cleaning recipes.

Soapmaking instructions -  Method for making Anayennisi Aromatics Natural Cleaning Recipes - homemade liquid soap.

1. Grate the olive oil soap bar, a really easy way to do this is in a food processor ! Put the grated soap into a pan with 1/2 litre of boiling water and melt gently over a low to medium heat, this only takes a little while, five minutes or so, stir gently ,when it has dissolved and has melted, remove from the heat. Add the other 1/2 litre of boiling water.

2. When it has cooled a little, so the mixture is still warm, whizz with a stick blender to ensure there are no lumps in the mixture.

3. Allow to cool right down, whizz the mixture again with the stick blender.

4. Add the glycerin (optional !) and essential oils, if you are using the basic olive oil soap bar. If you have used one of Anayennisi Aromatics soaps which already contain essential oils, then more oils do not need to be added, unless of course you want to enhance the aroma and benefits of the essential oils !

5. That's it !!

It really is that easy !

If you used an olive oil soap bar with no essential oils in it you may want to add one of the blends below to scent your homemade liquid soap - all essential oils have antibacterial properties.
