All of the  bath basics essential oil bath recipes use olive oil as the carrier for the essential oils in the bath water. The rationale for using olive oil as the carrier is because olive oil on skin and olive oil benefits for the body are widely acknowledged....

Olive oil benefits and why using olive oil on skin is such a good idea......

• Olive oil contains antioxidants which maintain the skins elasticity and helps reduce the effects of ageing.

          Essential oil  bath oil recipes - Directions for use.

Add 6 drops of your chosen essential oils aromatherapy blend ....see the essential oils aromatherapy blend list below....to 30 mls of olive oil. Add to the bath water just before you finish running the bath, swish the essential oils aromatherapy blend into the water and  enjoy !!

Please be careful on getting out of the bath as it can become quite slippery.....after your bath clean any residue from the bath with natural house cleaning products (see our natural home remedies for cleaning ) page or just simply wipe over the bath with baking soda .

Mix in with 30 ml of Olive Oil and pour the essential oils aromatherapy blend into the bathwater, as the last of the water is running into the bath, just before you get in, to get the full benefit of the essential oils.

• 2 drops Rose Essential oil, 2 drops Lavender Essential oil and 2 drops Geranium Essential Oil
• 2 drops Geranium Essential oil, 2 drops Jasmine Essential oil and 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil
• 2 drops Lavender Essential oil, 2 drops Lemon Essential oil and 2 drops Chamomile Essential Oil
• 3 drops Rosemary Essential oil and 3 drops Lemon Essential Oil
• 2 drops Pure Lavender Essential oil, 2 drops Jasmine Essential Oil and 2 drops Rose Essential Oil
• 2 drops Thyme Essential Oil, 2 drops Spearmint Essential Oil and 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil
• 2 drops Lemon Essential Oil, 2 drops Orange Essential Oil and 2 drops Spearmint Essential Oil
• 2 drops Rosemary Essential Oil, 2 drops Peppermint Essential Oil and 2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
